Please give me your opinion on this GSA dollar. Just picked this up this weekend; I will probably send it off to NGC at some point.

thanks everyone!!!

I would say MS63. It's a nice coin.

Very nice. I like coins this satiney look

Solid 63, I think it has a shot at 64. Of course it's always hard to tell from a picture.

I'm going to be sending a few into NGC very soon myself. I picked up a batch of them last weekend, just got them in hand today. One is a solid PL, hoping for DMPL if possible. That would be a nice score.

Anywhere between 63 and 65. It really depends on whether those obverse marks are hits or just grazes on the original skin. Here's my PCGS 65 for comparison.

Steve27

I agree 63 with a shot at 64.

fivecents

I agree with Steve27....MS63 shot MS64.

dragon

It's a 64, and would be a high end 64 if the reverse wasn't struck from partially rusted dies and the messed up eagles breast feathers.

I'll go MS-64. Neat little dash under the 2nd 8 in the date.

fountainheadgold

solid 64

Stuart

MS-63 (Shot 64 - Since it's an 1880-CC, which typically are baggy)...
