For those that wanted to know the auction results on the 1960 Mickey Mantle Hartland Fig. & 4X6 Autographed card from the Shangri-La Celebrity Golf Classic Scramble, The sale ended with the two going for $152.50. A fair & reasonable price I thought !! But it was nerve wracking to watch !!
I am wondering if the grading points that one looks for are different on the cards from the mid-late 80`s & 90`s ? I am speaking about mainly about the cards without borders ! How do you determine the ones that you keep from this era??? I have a nice Ryne Sandberg, Score91 #3 that I would like to keep & it has borders so it is fairly easy to tell, but the Score Select cards from 92 are not so easy !! If you were a beginning collector, from all the modern cards, how do you determine the keepers ???
