Beckett Online Single Card Price Lookup

My old eyes may be playing tricks on me, but I can no longer find the free, single card price lookup feature that was on the beckett.com site. Anyone know if it's still there, and if so, how to get to it? Thanks!

  • It's gone. They now want you to pay for the whole guide to get prices. I don't really go there, but the Beckett Boards had some threads on it and people were upset. This is just one more nail in the coffin towards Beckett's price guide meaning nothing.

The only workaround I've heard of is opening a "My Collection" and adding a card to see how much your total value changes. Very lame, but a workaround if you're at work or something. I enjoyed the free service, particularly when I was having trouble locating a card in the magazine (monthly/quarterly or otherwise) It was nice to put in a player name and card number and try to determine what card you had... but they decided the almighty dollar was mor important...can't say I blame them.
  • I have done the My Collections thing where you add a single card and see how much it increases the value of your collection. I can do that, but it only gives high Beckett value and I'm really looking for low (which is usually half high, but not always).

Anyway, I did email Beckett and just got confirmation that they did can the service.
