In addition, he also pulled her hair. What a low life.

Horrible, see how one idiot can shed a city in poor light? These idiots are in every city from sea to shining sea.

What a loser of a coward that "fan" was. I don't know the specifics, but to slap a woman and then run? Coward!!! Once again, as the White Sox organization rises, another idiot incident will raise questions from the ignorant.

Once again, kudos to the Houston Astros for saying the things they did. And I'm finally glad someone (Ozzie Guillen) brought up the drinking issue. God, people are stupid when they are sober, but even more so when they are drunk. yet, if there is $$$$ (lots of it) to be made, then it is A-OK to tolerate.

I cannot see how drunkeness would have changed anything - to hit a woman is being a chump, and I am sure all of his family, friends, and co-workers now know who it was. Not to mention his soon to be cell mate

I am sure his life is about to change ...

He wasn't a fan. The "fans" sure as hell weren't in the $10,000 scout seats. I read somewhere that he was a doctor who received his seats from some other doctor who got them from a pharmaceutical rep. In other words, this was some drunk, rich, northside yuppy Cub fan.

Sorry, not a pharm. rep. but from a medical consultant:

"The man, whom the Sox won't identify, is banned from U.S. Cellular Field until team officials figure out exactly what happened. They did learn he was sitting in seats that belonged to "a medical consultant to the club who gave them to another doctor,'' said Reifert."

Well, send the yuppy to either the Sox or Astros clubhouse and just close the door for a while. image

Great quote from Guillen regarding this:

"I told the police, 'Don't put him in jail. Bring him to me in the dugout."

Cut the guy a break. He obviously mistook Biggio's wife for a Royals first coach...

Get a life. This is why everyone hates the Sox fans. I am a Cubs fan. I like the Sox, but their fans are as dumb as they come.

Was William Ligue a northside yuppie?

To stereotype all SOX fans as dumb, is quite bigioted and truly dumb.

Right you are. But I was actually making a point that to assume this guy was a yuppie, Cubs fan from the northside is dumb. And those thoughts are the epitomy of the AVERAGE Sox fan.

Also If you haven't realized there is a lot of name calling in this here Sports Talk. I don't think bigotry is the word for fueding fans.

No, William Ligue was no doctor, that's for sure. I'm positive he didn't have $10,000 for Box seats at the World Series, either.

Well Cub fans aren't well known for the love of the cubs as they are of the alcohol and party atmosphere at wrigley.

    Oh, Brosius *still* sucks.

Unlike you I don't have the time, energy, or motivation to create alt IDs.

Good to see you outing yourself, though.
