All are outstanding, but the red, white, and blue "Rocket" card is my favorite. SWEET.
  • Awesome, awesome items. Just curious, had all of the autos already been authenticated? Just wondering if any were turned down by PSA/DNA. Great work.

wufdude - In total there were 18 cards (still waiting for 3 to come back as they had to go under a seperate submission from this group) all were deemed authentic.

Dave - Golfers, presidients, whoever.. not a problem. www.signaturecuts.com

    Thanks everyone.

  • That's good. Just wondering about the process you have in terms of creating the card without first having the auto authenticated. It looks like you put a tremendous amount of work into creating one and it would just flat out suck to get the card back "Unable to Authenticate".
  • KnucklesKnuckles Posts: 2,512 ✭✭✭
Yeah it would really suck.. I'm glad it hasn't happend yet.. but I'm pretty confident in spotting a real signature from a fake and also mainly only buy from reputable sellers.

  • Very nice cards. Going to have to send you those 2 Satchel Paige sigs that I have to get done up. Got to save up a few bucks first though.

I love the Stengel, Richard and Williams. One question, did you do the Richard so much differently because of the direction the signature was going and "interference" from other things on the sheet he signed or did you just want to change it up a bit? I think it looks great!

jscovill, sounds good.. I look forward to making the card for you. image

Thanks envoy.. The signature was too long but really to small to warrant making it into a 4x6 card so that kind of fell together.. I was having a good day creativity wise I guess. image

Thanks Jery.. Here's a scan of the back of the Richard. The others will be up in signaturecuts.com gallery before the weekend.

  • Was the signature too long, is that the reason you put that autograph at that paticular angle.

I picked up this check, and found the signature to be a little too big for a regular card.

Maybe I'll send it your way to see what you can do with it.

    Jery

I wish, PSA would allow you to register those creations, that would be something.

    Garret-
Nice cards. Great seletion of the photo for the back of the Williams card. Ever consider making your cards at the larger (Bowman and early Topps) size rather than the current standard? Might give you that much more room to work.

I've got a project for you. I picked up that Lance Armstrong auto.

  • Amazing job on all of the cards, but that Richard is sick!!! image

Jery, it was too long and I just ran with it.. that autograph looks too large to do what I did with the Richard.. it would probably be best on a verticle 4x6 card... PSA will let you register them through the HOF autograph set.. or if someone were to think of something else like a 500 HR set.. they'll add it.

Tom, that's a great idea. I never thought of it. It would give just enough extra room to play with for those signatures that are just a bit too big. An Armstrong would be very nice at T3 size.. I'll be watching for it in my mail image

Remeber you CU guys get $5 off of each card.. Don't forget to subtract it off of the creation fee. image

Looks great encapsulated Tom, glad you're happy with it. (probably want to put it in the mail call thread instead. People are probably sick of this thread of mine and not coming to look) image
