Need Help: Value of Antique Philadelphia Athletics signed baseball?

A friend of mine has a "1939 Old Timers Game" ( inscribed as such on the ball ) baseball which was signed by participants in that Philadelphia Athletics old timers game. The ball comes down through the family of Max Bishop who was an Athletics player.

It is a Reach Official League Ball in good shape and with very legible signatures. It is unclear as to whether it was game used in the Old Timers Game.

The retired players ( all of whom played, at one
time, with the Philadelphia Athletics ) who
autographed the ball at the Old Timers Game in 1939 are:

*Lefty Grove
Carrey Brown ( Carroll William Brown or "Boardwalk"
Brown )
Jim Peterson
Eddie Murphy
Cy Perkins
I. T. Coombs ( Ira Thomas "Jack" Coombs )
*Frank Baker
Joe Bush
George Earnshaw
Walt French
Harry Davis
Ben Egan
Rube Walberg
*Cheif Bender
Eddie Rommel
Mule Haas
Jimmy Dykes
Rudy Miller
Howard Ehmke
Paddy Livingston
*Eddie Collins
Jack Quinn

I have placed an * before players who I believe are in the HOF.

My friend would like to know the approximate market value of this item in order to determine if he should sell it at this time.

I have recomended that he consider a public auction such as the rarity sales of Mastronet.

If board members could offer an estimate of market value that I could relate to my friend at this time it would be very much appreciated.

Thanks!

Ricardo
