Should Notre Dame be ranked #9?

I was doing a little research today, looking at ND's record, and can't help but think I am not impressed at all by the teams they've won. Yes, they took USC to the end, but they still lost, and they had 2 weeks to prepare. ND has beaten opponents with a combined 15-22 record, and only one team they've beaten has a winning record (5-3 michigan).

So in your mind, should they be ranked this high? Many would say they shouldn't have been ranked #9 before the USC game, and playing the Trojans so tough shouldn't have lost them spots....but I think mid teens would be a more applicable spot for them right now.

    like it or not they are notre dame and they always get a bump! after today win i think they should be about 12

    the rest of their schedule is pretty sad too. Tennessee they play next is the only team even decent, and they have 3 losses already. Then they get Navy, Syracuse and Stanford

    No way. They are way over ranked and their strength of schedule besides USC is a joke.
