Question about 1961 Jay Publishing cards

Could someone please tell me a little about them.

1961 Jay Publishing Cardinals Team Set

Lemke had an article a few months back in SCD noting a whole bunch of the 61 unopened packs had been flooding e-bay. At first they were the subject of competitive bidding, but then when they kept coming the pirce dropped to the $ 10 and below range for team packs. The SCD Catalog lists Jays for 58 to 62 (Type 1) and from 62 to 65 ( Type 2) There are 681 listed for Type 1 and 811 for Type 2. In the 05 catalog commons are listed for $ 3. Star cards are listed from $ 10 to $20. Team packs had 12 players. They sold at ballparks, mail and stores, according to SCD. No producer or year of production is noted on them. The 1961 Jays packs that were not found in the hoard were the Yankees, Giants, Reds, Twins, Braves, Tigers, and Cubs. All the rest of the '61s are plentiful (like the Cardinals team set that you posted the link for).
