I do not believe that it is genuine.

I firmly believe in numismatics as the world's greatest hobby, but recognize that this is a luxury and without collectors, we can all spend/melt our collections/inventories.

Yeah, i have the same feeling, but with me its just a feeling. What makes you think that it is not authentic?

Liberty has a flat face and a mannish look on that one. Here's a real one, from the Coinfacts site.

The one on Ebay doesn't look authentic.

    The real coin.
Look at the eagles right wing. The tip of the wing lines up with the R in FRANCISCO on the authentic one.

    The coin on Ebay.
Look at the eagles right wing. The tip of the wing lines up with the F in FRANCISCO, not the R.

    edited for spelling.

Also, Liberty's chin looks a little more squarish on the eBay coin than it does on the real one.

And the lettering on the reverse looks hinky to me.

There are a LOT of diferances between those two.

On the real one Kellogg is along the top edge of the coronet, on the fake along the bottom edge.

The front edge of the coronet on the fake appears to be doubled.

On the reverse of the real one the ring of stars is "pie shaped, pointed at the bottom rising straight on both sides with a curved top. On the fake the stars are in more of an oval arrangement.

The wings of the real one come to a point while on the fake they a rounded and bulbous.

The fake seems to be missing the eagles tail.

The lettering font is different with the letters on the real one being more slender and slightly taller compared to their width. This is most noticable on the CO of Francisco. On the real they are tall and oval with little differance in thickness between the top an sides of the letters. On the fake they are more rounded and the sides are much thicker than the top and bottom.

The "arch" to either side of the shield are asymetrical on both coins. On the real one the left arch is more strongly curved and on the fake the right on is mor strongly curved.

On the fake the flourishes at the top of the arches are larger more completely filling the space between the arch and the shield.

The curl/ball at the bottom of the left arch on the fake is larger and above the W. On the real one it is smaller and above the space between the W and E.

Finally the fake looks like a copper alloy.
