I got grades today. Usually, I don't like to post results post without pictures but here's a hint: There were two MS68s, one of which was a coin from the 1700s.
Does anybody get a kick out of the fact that there is a 288 year old coin sitting in a respectible MS-68 slab, and people sometimes have trouble finding statehood quarters in the same grade (produced in the hundreds of millions by the way) directly from their mint sets? Wow.
Absolutely outstanding material. Now my question is, how were they preserved this way for a couple of hundred years? I didn't think they had mylar flips in the 1700s!
Always interested in St Louis MO & IL metro area and Evansville IN national bank notes and Vatican/papal states coins and medals!

I'm paying three times face value for all European talers from the Reformation in any MS grade. Let me know if you have any spares.

They are all keepers, unless I have another already that's even nicer. The only one where this may be true is: 1774 GERMANY NURNBERG 1P MS 66
