What is the book price for a 1952 Topps Mantle in PSA 1?

Hi, do any of you know the book price? I always wanted to buy one. Would you trust a poor ungraded copy in lieu of a PSA 1? If so how can I be sure it is legit?

    Never, ever, ever buy an ungraded 52 Topps Mantle. There are so many counterfiets out there. Stay far, far away.

    If you find an actual PSA 1, it is believed that you will be paying anywhere from $1,500 to $3,000. That would be a guess of someone else on these forums.

    A low-end PSA 1 will sell for $1,500 while a high-end PSA 1 will sell for $2,500.
