Can't the moderator(s) ban by IP address? That's how I do things on my messageboard once a banned nuisance starts reregistering as a zillion different newbies and trolls the forum.
Sorry. I'm am a newbie and I'm clueless about old coins. I thought my 1801 coin was ancient. I have a whole box of gold and silver old coins and I just wanted to find out from the experts.
Bait? What are you taking about? You are assuming that I'm selling. I am just wondering what something like this was worth. I have looked on the internet and found a picture that matches the coin. I remember seeing these gold coins over 30 years ago at my grandma's house. Now, my father has just passed away and they are in his safe and it's kind of exciting to see what they are worth. The coins are just some of the things I've been finding, but I don't think anyone here would be interested in hearing about the old love letters my mother wrote my father in 1958 or about old amateur radios. Thanks anyway for your nice response.

You described the coin like a pro when you called it a "1801 Gold $10 Capped Bust with Large Eagle". Now, you're a newbie.
Just curious, has anyone been stupid enough to take the bait? Have they wired you payment yet? I'll bet the coin was a great bargain!
