any idea of the value of a gooden game used jersey with no certificate of authenticity?

    Seriously, it's worth more than that - but it is worth it to consign to an auction house or something that can authenticate it, thereby giving the jersey a certificate of authenticity.
    I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

    Whatever it is worth has be at least 50% lower than what it was 8-10 years ago.

    Well the auction houses do not authenticate, per se. They authenticate only if you consign to them to sell. I would suggest perhaps Grey Flannel. But not sure. Their authentication fees are $175 or so, which is steep. With prices like those, it is better to consign to them [or Mastro, or whomever] to sell, in which case they will authenticate as part of the process.

    You might try MEARS. About the same fee, possibly a little more. Dave Grob is very knowledgable with GU Jerseys and D. Bushing isn't half bad either. . image
