edit: "If it looks to good to be true, ...well you know!" (further edited: ...well I hope they are the "real deal" because that's sure "a lot of nice stuff" being auctioned there, and would hate to see anyone "get burnt"?)

This company has been advertising in SCD for a bit - unless someone has stolen their name, they're the real deal.

I think their FB is irrelevant and they're doing for the cheap advertisement?

  • This is the company that purchased the Memorabilia Roadshow from Ed Kranepool a while back. They've held thier own auctions before, but every large auction house has a branch on Ebay now so I guess they are giving it a shot too. I agree with Mike though and look at it as they are just trying to get better exposure for thier stuff.......

I would only bid if I could pick it up in person. Zero feedback is zero feedback in my book! Buyers BEWARE in my opinion!
  • They are definately legit. Heritage, Sandandy, and everyone of us all had to start at zero at one time or another. The 22% hammer fee definately bites though......

    Here's their auction site. http://www.gmrs.com/

They're legit and I would bid on their stuff if they had hockey items that I liked.

  • My understanding is that they started out in the comic book business and rolled everything over into sports memorabilia at some point. They had an awesome display of items at the National in Chicago this year including a team photo of the '56 Yankees signed by darn near all of them, including Mantle of course (at least I think it was '56, it might have been a different year).
