Quick PSA/DNA question...

Hi.... I emailed PSA about it, but havn't heard any response yet. Just figured I post here before I try to give 'em a call tomorrow. Didn't know if anyone here knew the answer.

I recently purchased a PSA/DNA Authenticated Mike Piazza 1993 Topps card off ebay. It isn't slabbed, instead just has the PSA/DNA sticker & COA. My question is... if I want to have it placed in a holder, do I have to send it into PSA and pay the 20.00 fee to have it authenticated all over again? Or is there a way I could just pay the re-holdering fee (even though it doesn't have a holder yet).

Thanks in advance for your help/thoughts.

  • Im almost positive that it dosen't have to be authenticated agains as long as you send the paperwork to them with the item

  • Normally the fee will start at $10 and all of the PSA/DNA COA's or LOA's need to be sent in with the item.
The signature does not need to be authenticated again but the card needs to go through grading. Whether you choose to have the card graded or just put in an Authentic holder, the graders have to determine if the card is genuine and has not been altered. If so, that will keep the card out of a PSA holder.

Call customer service if you have any additional questions.
