Scam or not!? Please help!
Ok, this isnt the right forum for this kind of question but Im unfamiliar with Yahoo and hopefully someone here has a better understanding about this...
I "discovered" Yahoo just awhile ago. It said you could put up auctions for free so hey! I said, lets give it a try...
I had to give up my visa specs twice, which I did... Something about to prefent frauds I think was mentioned...
Anyway, my auction never got listed and a couple of minutes later when i checked in on my bank to view if my east-european bonds had continued to fall... I discovered someone/something had charged the account connected to my visa card..two times! I know that I didnt use it that day and the charged fee was approx a USD which isnt much but anyway if my visa specs are out there somewhere I want to take measurements.
After this I send an e-mail to Yahoo, asking if they charge auctionlistings or so, and today I received an aswer from some Robin, working on Yahoo billing apparently that they want my Yahoo-id, date of birth data and so on in order to review my account!?
What to do!?

freeze the VISA account immediately before doing anything else. It might be too late but if nothing has been charged they can kill that account and issue a new VISA....never give out info in response to an email!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it sounds to me like he didn't answer an email, it was email he initiated...
sounds funny though. Everything is probably ok, but I would also freeze the account, and have them re-issue your line of credit. Better safe than sorry, right? If your gut tells you something is wrong, go with it.
As for now I set my credit limit to zero aswell as drained the account, connected to the visa-card directly, on money, thus there are zero cash to gain from it. I hesitate to cancell the card totaly as I will be needing it later this week and I doubt they will issue a new one fast enough.
Thanks for your input guys. Does anyone here sell on Yahoo?
It may sound like overkill, but prior to this, I have had my identity stolen twice, and this is nothing compared to that inconvenience.
