Why are 1951 Topps redback PACKS so easy ?

Guys, I am no vintage guy by any means. I am a collector of late 1970's crap. Be gentle!

Why are 1951 Topps redback waxpacks easily obtained?

In the 1980s, there was a huge find of cases somewhere.

just like anything else - there was a find of them. You still see wax boxes for sale every year or two. They tend to fetch $10k+
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.
