I thought this was in interesting item that sold on ebay:
Hpyro just returned from a 50 yr. trip in outer space and found that his dear old Aunt Millie had passed and left his a bunch of stuff.
Being out of the 'loop' these many years, he's kind of 'out of step' with the current lingo on the block:
item description:
Selling a vintage Hartland Plastics baseball. This figurine has the Giants legend. I don't know what is his name, but it is an colored person. Colors are rich and nice, well kept for its age. The baseball cap is missing its tongue as you can see in the pictures. The left arm has some sign of plastic residue. I don't know if that is broken, but how it looks, it looks fine. Other than that, item is very nice overall. Item stands 7.5" tall. It will make a nice collection or project.
All sale are final.
On top of his apparent PC interruptous, he has a quaint way of referring to the 'bill' or brim of a cap as the "tongue" - I'm pretty sure the bidders may have missed that one since IMO, this item is not worth even 46$ in that condition.
Ebay....ya gotta love it!
