What is so rare about the Clemens card on page 144 of the SMR this month. The article talks about rarities but I don't remember hering about this card. The article doesn't mention anything about it. Why is it there?

Also how could you get the 1990 George Bush card.

The clemens card is not rare specifically, the set it is from is. It is just a card from the experimental 1988 cloth set.

According to the Beckett almanac, the Bush card was not meant for release, but a few cards did get into packs.

Topps gave 100 copies of the card to George H.W. Bush. There was a story though that someone did find one in a 1990 topps wax pack, also Mat Eisenstat a card dealer from i believe Brooklyn NY used to have a copy of the card for sale.
