Have any of you had issues with Lelands.com? I am.

I heard a few crappy stories regarding how long it has taken to receive items..

I phoned them two days ago asking if the two items I won had been shipped yet.. The guy put me on hold for awhile then said sorry our shipper is out and he would phone me back in a few hours. They called me today saying they never received payment for the two items. I sent the money order by XpressPost and it shows: Delivered, October 03, 2005, 9:55 am, SEAFORD, NY 11783

What's with these guys? image

Interesting that you should bring this up Knuckles. I was actually scouring ebay for cut sigs last night (in order that I can give them to you at the upcoming Toronto Expo to me made into cards) and came upon some nice baseball HOFers offered up by Lelands. However, I passed on them because of their poor feedback. Something like 98% positive rating, which, in my opinion, is far far too low for an outfit like Lelands. Furthermore, two things struck me upon reading some of the negative comments: first, the chronic complaint of slow shipping, and second, the petty replies that Lelands made to some of these negs. Both of these issues are totally inexcusable from a professional sports card/memorabilia business of lelands scope. Take a look at some of the other major dealers on ebay and check their feedback as a point of comparison.

I'll be set up along side DMD Classics at the Expo in booths 411, 412, 413.. looking forward to meeting you in person.

Another crappy thing about Lelands is that they don't accept credit card payments or PayPal, Western Union.. also the women who left the message on my voice mail sounded rude like I'm a dead beat bidder or something that didn't pay. This will probably be the first and last transaction I do with them, which is too bad since they usually have a decent amount of hockey stuff.

I bought a lot from them a year or so ago that turned out to be from a different year than was stated. I"m still waiting for a call back.
Search Net 54, shipping problems and misidentification of lots is pretty common with them.

Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's
