Can't even donate stamps

I tried to donate two large containers of used US & worldwide stamps
to the Boy Scouts and got nowhere. I thought they could use them for
the collecting badge. Guess I was wrong.

If you know a teacher, ask him/her. I gave my wife, a teacher, several rolls of wheat cents and steel wheaties and she said the kids got a kick out of them. I don't hassle with the "kilo" lots of stamps; so I can't predict how kids would react to stamps.

I agree about finding a school. Some areas are starting to use stamps to sparks students interest in history and in art. The other thing you might do is donate them to a stamp club for hand out to kids at stamp shows. Members of our club do it and the kids get something for nothing and like it.
