Do tell Carew. I was contemplating buying some of their products. I am interested to hear of your experience with them.

As would I...I've bought many, many times from them and always been delighted in dealing with them.

I recently ordered a binder for a set, and they emailed me saying they could put the set (its the 1984 fleer update set) in a smaller binder, and there would be a $10 savings...they could either ship me $10 worth of ultra pro sleeves, or refund the difference.

I can't seem to recall when the company selling me something has offered me a better deal than what I paid for.

The products are top notch and their service is impeccable.

  • I like MJ , thanks
Running an Ebay store sure takes a lot more time than a person would think!

I've bought from them twice and have had great experiences with them. Only slow shipping the first order, other than that. Good stuff....if you're willing to pay the money for their products. I suggest waiting for the 'scratch and dent' sales that they have. You can pick up the archiver boxes (my favorite product) for about $30 instead of the $40 and they hold free shipping offers here and there. So, it works out great.

I have built better boxes when i was Jr. High wood shop class!! Overpriced and overrated!! Actually i have built one already to hold my oversized cards . I think it ran me about $20 to make myself.

Sounds like a bit of a vendetta against roop.

Sounds like someone who has a different opinion. Why is that a vendetta??
Just because he doesn't feel the same way as you do??

So, if it costs you $20 to make it yourself (which I ain't no Bob Villa! image ), then I feel comfortable in paying the guy an extra $10 for the labor and shipping (when it's free shipping image ) costs. But, I wouldn't necessarily want to pay the full price ($40) plus shipping ($5) to get it to me. But, to each his own. And yes, everyone is entitled to their own opinions....it's called America. image

    Not at all.
But someone saying " have built better boxes when i was Jr. High wood shop class!! Overpriced and overrated!" isn't attacking?

Not if they really did I guess?? No to mention MJ used our comments here as FREE advertising on their website, and never really offer a "discount" to the members here for our FREE ads! Sounds like other people on the boards here. I think everything deserves a fair price, and fair profit, but when people are talking you up, and you are getting tons of repeat business directly from here, you should do something to help them out.

I made basicly the same $70 dollar box they are selling for around $20 . No Vendetta, i was just disappointed to the hype of their boxes. Again, you get what you pay for. What i was expecting and what i received didn't match. If i would have seen one in person before hand, i wouldn't have bought it. Anyone that wants to buy from MJ, knock yourself out.

    Ted
I called them on Friday and asked what the threshold for free shipping was and was told $300, when I chuckled and said I'm out of luck because I only wanted 2 archive boxes ($35 apiece) the guy on the phone said he'd do free shipping for me. I then told him about the survey that I completed as part of the free drawing and in particular my interest in the near future in puchasing a wall display for graded cards. We had a 10 minute conversation about how many cards I'd want to display, frame color, would I be interested in having it personalized etc. They are thinking about offering them as a product and were interested in my feedback. I find them to be very friendly.

Just an FYI that you may want to call them and see what they can do for you.

Now there is a team player, ArnyVee! Lowering his personal odds of winning by notifying the rest of the board, what a guy.

If it's your turn to win, it's your turn to win....no matter how many folks are involved. I'm just happy with the service that I've received in the past and willing to spread the word.

  • oh btw, people do win these things! They had their shootout game last month and I won a Mickey Mantle Collectors Binder(had to pay shipping and handling only). I have one of their wooden boxes and am pretty satisfied with it.
