Romo: tell me why I should care?

AxtellAxtell Posts: 10,037 ✭✭
Just saw part of his upcoming interview on 60 minutes this sunday, where he calls out BALCO and Victor Conte as supplying him with steroids...and he's all teary-eyed as he recounts his son asking him if he does drugs.

Why should I even feel a bit of remorse for this guy? He used to go on and on about the thousands and thousands of dollars he spent on pills and supplements...and all the while he was juicing.

Anyone who feels sorry for him really needs to have their heads examined.

No fudin'. After I saw this news on a ticker today, I asked myself if I'd even bother tuning in to see it. I'm somewhat ambivalent about steroids overall, but I think Romanowski is just human trash.

I hated this guy when he played. He was malicious and showed no remorse. Wasn't he the guy who got into a scuffle with a rookie in practice because the guy was blocking him? He punched the guy in the face and casued all types of damage. I think it was in ESPN magazine within the last year. He is/was an animal and I don't care what he was taking. I will not watch.

  • What's worse, I think he has a book coming out, so the 60 minutes crap is just a shameless promo. He will burn in hell with Pete Rose.

You're right, I was a bit harsh and hasty with that post. And who knows -- maybe Romo will use the profits to educate the public on the dangers of steroids.
