Poll: Who do you want to win the World Series?

First they have to get there, but who do you want to win the World Series?

Of the 4 remaining teams who do you want to win the World Series? As I said in the past I have mixed feelings as I usually root for the AL team but I like Andy Pettite and the Rocket. Since the White Sox haven't won the WS since 1917, and Andy Pettite has 4 World Series rings and the Rocket 2 WS rings I have decided to root for the White Sox if they play the Astros. The White Sox sweeping and totally dominating the Red Sox also influenced my decision. image

    How about the Mets! i could care less now. USC notre dame Penn state michigan on saturday! and COWBOYS giants on sunday!!

    Gemmy, I'm with you, the White Stockings! No offense to the Yanks, but I actually wanted them to go through Boston, and then New York to get to the WS, and then beat the Cards. How about that for knocking off some storied franchises?? That would have been special. Heck, a Chicago baseball team winning the WS against anyone is special enough.

    The Boston fans cried all those years, but multiply that by TWO, and you get to feel what any Chicago baseball fan has felt!

    The Sox are a good team. The only thing I don't like about this whole thing is how Ozzie and the fans portray them as a 'small ball' team. Please. Their success stems directly from having the best pitching in the league, period. Then they were just good enough offensively to be really good. Actually, their home run ability is more defining of how they win offensively...not small ball.

    I'm going with the White Sox. I'd kind of like to see every team win the world series at least once in my life time. Wasn't Carlton Fisk playing with the White Sox the last time they went to the playoffs?

    Skinpinch, I think the White Sox "lack of power" is a big misconception. Quite frankly I was suprised when I found out that the White Sox team Home Run total was 3 more than the Red Sox. Sure not as many as Texas and the Yankees but the White Sox have plenty of power as a team.
