    USC...Notre Dame gave up a ton against M State....USC is a Monster..

    I think ND would rather forget that whole Army thing during this time frame. Army, not USC or MSU or Purdue handed ND its worst back to back losses in 1944 and 1945... 44-0 and 59-0. There were these two guys by the name of Doc Blanchard and Glenn Davis that made life tough for the Fighting Irish at this time. I think these two won the Heisman... in 1944 and 45
