legacysportsrarities has been posting some nice stuff!

Very high grade vintage FB, plenty of 1/1's.

Nice baseball too.

Loves me some shiny!

Some of the prices they are getting are just silly. For instance, there's a PSA 9 1961 Topps Billy Williams on eBay now that's already over $800! That card normally sells for between $550 and $650. I'll never for the life of me understand why some people are willing to pay more for a card simply because its from a particular dealer or auction house. Makes no sense.
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."

    1. I would say the chance of Greg taking you for a ride are slim to none.
    2. Returns probably no questions asked.
    3. You know what your getting and he probably answers his phone and emails with any questions you may have.
    4. Because you want the cardimage

    How are you doin?

P.S. How many dealers have sold you a card and then buy it back at a nice profit a few months later? Well thefootballcardstore did. (i.e., that beautiful 1976 Topps Bradshaw PSA 10, plus I knew you had a client that was "dying for it"! LOL!). If you want good service, plus maybe he will offer you a "buy back at a nice profit" too!
  • I do what I can. I've been good! How's it going in the South half of our state?
Don't forget I offset about $50 by snagging the 65 CFL PSA 9 back. But yes, The backround on that Bradshaw runs long, but the current owner is very happy with it. I must say it looked about as perfect as a PSA 10 will ever be.

I don't mind buying back something that I need for more, especially if it makes everyone happy.

Also, on ebay I certainly bid higher for cards when it's a dealer I like. Trust is valuable.
Plus I want my favorites to keep doing well, making money, and thinking of me when it comes time to sell off line.

Mr D, any other FB gems your hiding in that trust of yours??? Good to hear from you!

  • By the way you might want to try that link that the footballcardstore has as Jeremy has a REAL NICE SELECTION of High GRADE CARDS HIMSELF WITH SOME MORE THEN FAIR bin PRICES.
As for his customers i dont think you will find any complants from anyone.
  • They have some nice hockey too.
I picked these up from Legacy this month.
