    Me too. I would openly root for them if my Sox fan friends weren't so brutal in 2003 about the Cubs demise.

    Im a life long Cubs fan (46 years old) who has no animosity towards and has no threatening feelings from the White Sox. I have no more or less feelings towards them that I do the Phillies, Mariners, or Devil Rays. They are just another team to me.

    The Cubs rivals are the Cardinals.

    However, as they are semi-local, I could watch many of their games this year on TV. It has been very interesting to see how this entire "small ball" legend has generated in the press. The fact is, the White Sox win when they hit home runs and they lose when they dont. And they hit a LOT of home runs.

    Combine that with their stellar pitching and you have success.

    Im for the Astros and Sox in the World Series. Im not sure who I will root for as although the Astros are also Cubs rivals (especially after some hard feelings two years ago), the Roger Clemens aspect my soften my feelings towards them.

    We will see. Either way it should be great baseball to watch.

    Great support for the Chisox, and I am a big-time fan...

    But hey, it is FOUR wins to advance, lets not be too overconfident, like perhaps the Yanks last year !!

    I have a question.

    If the White Sox make it to the series, which I hope they do being a fan, is their anyway Ozzie could put the Big Hurt in for a game? Because it's looking more and more like this will be his last season, and if they could get a ring on his finger, and an appearance in the World Series, that would be the greatest thing since Easy Cheese.
