Anaheim Naxcom card show

Will any of the members be going to this show? Not quite sure, it looks like it is at the home and garden show. I guess the Anaheim convention center is a big place. The only thing that might keep me away is the $9.00 parking and $7.00 entrance fees. I hate paying $37.00 for me and my sons to enter a card show for the privilage of spending money. It is no wonder why people don't attend and stay home and shop on EBAY. Have fun shopping and I might see you all there, Scott

Shows are definitely hanging by a thread, the National is worth it and Ft Washington from what I hear, but that may be about it. When you can find better stuff in 5 minutes on ebay than going to a show you know they can't last too long, at least in the number of shows per year they've been putting on.
Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's
Here's how to park for free at the convention:
On the west side of the convention center complex is West Street (runs north-south). Head south on West St. to Orangewood. Make a right on Orangewood. Make a left onto any of the residential streets that don't have a prominent Resident Parking Only sign. There's free parking there, and it's a decent neighborhood to leave your car. It's about a six block walk from there to the Convention Center.

Plus, maybe you are right, find better deals on ebay?
But its worth blowing an extra forty bucks, spending a day with the kids at a card show. ebay doesn't come close to that!
Good luck and happy hunting!

edit: P.S. At least that's what you tell the wife, "...honey, I really didn't want to go to that damn card show and spend $1000, I just wanted to spend some quality time with the kids, you know dear, that "baseball/Angels thing thats all!" Anyway sweatheart, look at the rally monkey, isn't it cute?
