Great - now what the heck will ESPN do?

.....no Yankees, no Red Sox.....just the White Sox, Angels, Astros, and Cardinals.....what a marketing nightmare.

I guess they could broadcast a spelling bee rerun instead.

    play offs and world series are all on Fox so I guess ESPN is laughing all the way to the World series of Poker finals.

    Spelling Bee on 'Cheap Seats' is a classic episode.

    The best spelling bee moment has to be that kid who passes out, then gets up, shakes it off, and spells his word correctly.

    And marketing nightmare? LA is the second biggest market, Chicago #3, and Houston #4....there does exist baseball outside NY and Boston, but if you watch ESPN, you wouldn't know it.

    I must admit it is fun to watch PAYROD CHOKE image A-Rod finished the series with a meager .133 batting average, collecting just two hits in 15 at-bats. He did not drive in a run. image

    Ratings will be good in the midwest and south but they will tank everywhere else. The LA area is Dodger country. Hell the Angles have been trying to find an identity for years. California, Anaheim, Los Angeles ... I hear alot of the media call them the Los Angeles Angles of Anaheim .... or .... whoever they are image Now, this takes nothing away from the very good gritty team they are. I just don't believe LA is going to be goo goo over the California Anaheim LosAngeles Angles!
