1998 Australian 1/10 oz. gold (pic)

This is possibly my favorite amongst all of my gold coins. Please tell me if I am on the right track. Australia minted these to represent the Chinese animal years. 1998 is a year of the tiger. If you could elaborate on this coin I would very much appreciate it. BTW, its nice to finally be a member of this forum.

Yep. Started in 1996 with the Year of the Rat. Will end year 2007 with the Year of the Pig (Boar).

I like that reverse proof design! Leaping tiger is cool too; not the normal cat motif.
