If it is in fact a blank planchet, it would be worth around $5.

    Welcome to the forum, Drag!

I found two blank planchets in a bank roll of 1995-P pennies a long time ago, so I know what "date" they are.

Be carefull of the complete blanks. I'm not sure how to prove if real or not but someone I know worked in a place where they made washers, nuts and bolts and stuff like that out of all types of materials for industry. One of the things they made for the fun of it was blank copper slugs the size of a penny. If you just find something like that, no big thing but I wouldn't ever buy a COMPLETE blank anything knowing full well there are lots of companies around capable of making blanks of any denomination coin even if it's just for the fun of making them.
