Canadian registry question ...

Looks like PCGS needs a new "expert" in Canadian Loon dollars ... when I went to
add one of the loonies I recently submitted to my registry set I found out I couldn't.
When I asked PCGS about it ... this was the reply I got ...
"Your coin, # 60221909, is not coming up with the 'P' designation after
the date. According to our expert, the 2001 is graded in SP only, not
PL. I will check with the operations manager to find out why your coin
was graded PL."
I would honestly like to know if anybody has ever seen a 2001-P Loon dollar
as the coin in question was pulled directly from a PL set.

Hope that helps......It should be labeled SP I would think
<< <i>From 1997-2001 the one dollar Loon coins were not issued for general circulation. They were found in the collectors sets for these years.

I believe I found the answer for the 2001 Canadian PL sets ... just have to forward the info to the so called expert that claims the 2001 PL loons should have a "P".
