I too would like to see some pictures and if you turn on your PM or an email address, we might be able to do some business. I am interested in your set call (805) 878-7272 or email at res04apo@gte.net and we can discuss further. Thanks, Walt
  • Mike,
I do not have pictures as all 18 coins of this 2004 Proof Set were graded, certified, and encapsulated by PCGS as PR70DCAM---images would add nothing to this----hope we can do business---I am asking $8000.00 for this PERFECT PROOF SET......

Hmmm...8K for sight unseen? Good luck!

No offense, but I think you'd do much better by providing pics. Scant few people would spend that much money sight unseen, PCGS or not.

    Cheers,

    Bob
  • Bob,
Thank you for your advice, but this set is registered at PCGS Registry under proof sets and in the name of "Cheyenne and Johnnie". Bob, if we can not rely on a PCGS Slab rating---especially a "70" rating???????
An absolut perfect picture (...I have never had a perfect picture...), would not show anything except the guaranteed perfection by PCGS.
The very purpose of slabbing, especially by PCGS, is to allow trading sight unseen.
By the way, how does one post a picture here? I am a greenhorn!!!!
Thank you for your past, present, and future help.

The PR70 grade is the last one I would rely on in a sight unseen transaction. There are too many that have turned to crap after they were slabbed.

Cornwellcameo, you have been given good advice/suggestions regarding posting images of your coins.

Regardless of how certain YOU might be that a PR70 coin must be literally perfect and need not be questioned, many others feel differently, based upon their experiences.

When a number of people, many of whom have nothing to gain, are all telling you the same thing, it's often wise to listen with an open mind.
