    How in the world could the Angels have lost that one? With that bullpen? It makes no sense...

    I agree - game 5 is the end of the road for the Yanks. Mussina is going to get lit up like a Christmas tree.

    Colon doesn't seem like he is on right now, so I don't think either starter is a sure thing

    Lackey has been money all year, and they went for the jugular tonight bringing him in on 3 days rest. Still Colon has looked like a cy younger most of the year, and I do think Anaheim wins it tomorrow. It does suck seeing these games start at 5:00 PST - weird shadows and all.

    Both teams are going to be tired, no? They must be flying out right now, and by time they land and get some sleep - it's game time again.

    Predicting that Mussina will get "lit up like a Christmas Tree" is just wishful thinking for the Yankee hater, truth is nobody knows what will happen. With that said, LA had the Yankees for the kill and their great bullpen couldn't hold the slimest of leads.

    Ctsox, what makes no sense? this is baseball for goodness sake. The Angles bullpen blew the tiny lead and Game 5 is on.

    Soft - of course, I am not being literal...I was just surprised to see the Angels bullpen give up the lead. Especially with the chance to slam the door on the series.

    But, my Mussina prediction is based on fact and computer models that indicate as such. image

    Mussina is well rested and is not flying from NY. He is already here and ready to go. He pitched well in the opener at Anaheim, so he is ready to equal that performance more or less.

    Colon is not slouch either. Neither team really has an advantage. Its a craps shoot who will win tomorrow. I would not be surprised either way. I want the Yankees to win, but I know the Angels are tough and stubborn.

    Hopefully Game 5 will be as exciting as the first 4 games have been. I'll be there trying to find the winning "Nomar stepping to the plate" routine. Clap three times, clench right first or maybe clap twice and yell "Let's Go!". image

    Let's see now, a well rested Mussina who shut the Angels down completely in game 1 versus Colon who has a hurting back and said he wasn't ready to start game 4 on normal rest and who has an ERA over 7 versus the Yanks in his last 3 starts?


    I like the Yankee's chances image.

    So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts
