    It should be a good one this weekend against Michigan.

    yes - Pinnacle has it at Michigan -3 so with the "automatic" 3 points for home field advantage they're calling it an even game. Gonna be tough for Penn State coming off an emotional win and Michigan will be psyched to knock them off. The history of Paterno though shows that once he gets a team on an undefeated roll by this time of the season, they are very difficult to beat. I gotta stick with Penn State based on that fact, in what should obviously be a very close, hard fought game.

    No doubt a tough game ahead and will be a tough place to win with all the reasons you said, but Joe will have them focused and ready to play. We turned the corner from the hunter to the hunted Sat Nite. It's been a long wait. Go Penn State!

    Nice to be back on your schedule in 06 and 07, always fun games. Also nice to see that you toughening up your schedule in the next couple years, not to take anything away from your wins over South Florida, Cincinnati, Central Michigan, Northwestern and Minnesota. If you can't beat a 3-3 Michigan team that is as average as its records indicates then they don't deserve to be considered a top ten team. I hope you are not as over rated as we are. image

    Yes - I'm already looking forward to the game against Notre Dame next season. If it was up to me, I would have kept Penn State as an independent like Notre Dame, but it's all about the money - but being in the Big 10 for a number of years now, I've gotten use to it.

    I understand your point about the Michigan game but football is many times about catching teams at the right time - any team can get beat in a certain set of circimstances. Penn State coming off a big emotional home game win off of Ohio State and then going into Michigan is going to be tough. I was told by someone who was at the Penn State - Ohio State game that the crowd never sat down the whole game - they were definitely a 12th man. I do think that Penn State will win this upcoming game though.

    you left out our win against ohio state. the next 5 games for penn state if they win out. they should have a title shot!

    Oops sorry and I was going to add they played very well. It will be interesting to see how they do against 110K hostile fans, they certainly had a tremendous crowd at the game.

    WOW, nice jump in the polls, do you really think they are a top 10 team???? They did play well Sat. but their offense just doesn't look good at all.......

    I doubt that any team from the Big Ten will finish unbeaten...

    Sadly, history also shows that Jopa has had about a half dozen Undefeated teams and Still do not win the National championship. so do not get that excited.
