Mexican Peso Coins

I have two 1988 coins that have "$1000" written on them, does anyone have any idea what these are or what they are worth?
I don't collect darkside coins; so any help would be appreciated.

They would appear to be Km#536 in Krause catalog with a mintage of 229 million BU value $4.25 and deduct a dollar for each lower grade.

If they are Proof the value is $465

Inflation had gotten pretty high in Mexico by then.

Those coins are demonetized now (in other words, they wouldn't be spendable in Mexico anymore).

However, they have modest collector value in higher grade, as theboz just mentioned.

Noone mentioned that they are aluminum bronze 1000 Pesos coins featuring Juana de Asbaje.

They do have Juana de Asbaje on them and in my opinion they grade about EF or so. So they are only worth a few bucks, right?
