offense sucked, we gave up over 100 yards in penalties, and gave the Jets two short fields to score on...and we were in it all the way..

tough loss but Im not worried!

  • You should have beaten us. 41 year old Vinny with two weeks of practice and all.

I've been concerned all year with the bucs.

Barely winning against the Vikes when they were horrible.
Barely winning against a bad Lions team.
Barely winning against a bad GB team.

The Jets killed themselves too in the first half. Vinny did enough for his first game. Not stellar numbers by any means, but he got it done. Just his presence pumped up the players and fans.

I've asked what Griese's done all year that you've been bragging about...when another quarterback does it, you come on with 'what did he do?'

You sure do love trying to argue both sides of a point.
  • The Sucs better hope they get their caddy out of the shop soon. Without him you guys are in trouble!
    Go Cowboys!!!!!!!!!! image
  • Vinaaaay!!!

Bucs are back to reality. They had a decent run, now they are done...
    Am I speaking Chinese?

Joe this isn't a new phenomenon....why don't you go back and see how many 100+ yards in penalty games the Bucs have this year.

  • Bucs get lucky again. Falcons looking like they will be 3-2 Bucs still have a huge lead in NFC south....
  • I think the bucs are the benficary of a easy schedule going into this week their oppenents records combined was:

    3-12

Can't wait till they play some legit teams. 2 games against CAR, 2 Games left Against ATL and a meeting with NE.

legit..you see what Favre did today??

buffalo beat a good fish team....don't let the bucs domination lead you to believe that some of these teams are bad!

    Oh god.

You've been droning on and on and on about how bad and pathetic the NFC north is...now you're trying to justify the Bucs wins against them that they aren't that bad?

    Please.
  • no the teams the bucs played are bad joe nothing to say. Vikes they aren't good. Lions should've won but they aren't good either. Buf isn't very good yes they won today but if Ronnie Brown or the Phins don't have 3 INTS Phins easily win. Packers beat up on a bad saints team. Hell the vikings beat the saints down...

At the end of the 1st half Griese had 111 yards passing, Testaverde had less than 60.

At the end of the 3rd quarter Testaverde had passed Griese, who still had 111 passing yards.

At game's end Griese had 226, Testaverde had 163.

If the Bucs have no running game they will not win. Griese's arm has always been suspect.
  • Michael Irvin spent the entire ESPN pre-game show blathering about how the Jets were gonna get blown out.......Irvin's spot on the panel is just another example of the benefits of affirmative action.

And your spot here is another example of why birth control should be taught early and often.
