Solder removal, is there a way?

I just picked up a 20 pfennig to fill a hole in my date/mint set. The obverse is VF and the reverse must have been soldered to a pin or something. Is there any way to remove the solder without destroying the coin? I just want it to look a little more presentable until a better one comes along.
Thanks...

Well, if it's a lead/tin solder, then you could try a soldering iron and Kester's solder wick. The solder has a lower MP than silver, but I couldn't vouch that the heat wouldn't discolor the silver coin in that area.

Having said that, is the coin silver (80%+) or billon.
