Trade Dollar and chop marks Question

ddbirdddbird Posts: 3,168 ✭✭✭
Why is a chopped trade dollar excluded from the type set registry?

Even though its part of their history it won't let me add a chopped trade dollar to my type set.

Porque?

Chop mark Trade dollars are really a very special circumstance. You can make the argument that they are really damaged coins...and the damage is not mint made.

A chop mark MS65 is not worth what a non-chop mark MS65 is...there is really no way to put them in the Registry for type coins and have it be "fair" to some other collector who has a non-chop mark coin.

    Thanks,

    David
