What does this post even mean? Are you drinking this early, Gemmy?
Just so happened the catcher they brought over from the white sox had a season ending knee injury as well.
Now spammy, I thought you had a game to go to, or were you lying about THAT too?

Too bad for us...now we get another day of your mindless rants about nothing in particular.
Another day of you posting mindless cartoons that you've stolen from nomaas.org and claim them as your own.
Pathetic.
<< <i>Ex-mariner because they had an opportunity to get a great catch to replace the timeless Dan Wilson who had his last season this year...and who had an ACL issue early in the season.

Axtell, the chisox traded Olivo and Morse to the Mariners for Garcia. Olivo the young catcher you wax on about was traded to San Diego on 7/31.
SAN DIEGO -- The San Diego Padres remained active before the trade deadline and took further steps to fill a gap at the catcher position.
The Padres on Saturday acquired catcher Miguel Olivo from the Seattle Mariners in exchange for catcher Miguel Ojeda and minor-league pitcher Nate Mateo.
Olivo, who is hitting .151 (23-for-152) with five home runs and 18 RBI this year, will serve as one of the replacements for injured starter Ramon Hernandez. Hernandez underwent surgery on his left wrist Friday and will miss up to six weeks.
Ojeda, a 30-year-old who played in the Mexican League from 1995-2003, hit .137 (10-for-73) in 43 games with San Diego before being optioned to Triple-A Portland of the Pacific Coast League on July 7. He is a .224 hitter with 12 homers and 54 RBI in 166 major league games.

I hardly was waxing on about him...we had a need at catcher, and they tried to address it. Obviously it didn't work out.
Stating facts is hardly 'waxing on'.

<< <i>In your words "opportunity to get a great catch". Hey I liked the kid when he was with the Sox, just pointing out the facts and I know how they get in the way around here. Don't get your feathers so easily ruffled, that is why you get so much smoke blown your way. >>
Wasn't getting my feathers ruffled I didn't think I went on as 'waxing' is all.
I get smoke blown my way from all the yankee fanatics who can't fathom that someone would dislike the yankees, and have a good reason to do so.
