bought a card on ebay! guy cashed my check!

and has not responded to 5 emails from me. and still no card 2 weeks after check was cashed. what can i do? am i screwed and just leave him a neg and get one in return? or is there like a non paying thing that you can do for a seller that doesnt sell? If that makes sense?

Not a big loss here a 1959 willie mays graded psa 6 the catch 19$ but i think its sh$tty that he cashed my check and wont send the card or respond to any emails!

Is 2 wks plenty of time to ship goods to you? If yes, you can use ebay and specify " report item not received". Do check if the seller has any recent activities like feedbacks and more auctions. Somethings it's just slow to get to you (and there are many reasons for that).

If it has only been a couple of weeks wait awhile longer if he doesn't respond to an e-mail in which you advise him you will be filing negative feedback if item not received in the next 7 days and you still have no response or card, negative feedback would be a reasonable option! You can still contact eBay about this, however, the amount of your purchase would not qualify for a refund from eBay. It has to be greater than $25 as eBay has a $25 claim handling fee.

I normally would agree with Mike, doesn't sound like an item someone would scam on.

However, the only time I have never received an item was a $20 purchase on eBay. The guy just kept the money. eBay did get $1 out of his account for me. But that was all she wrote on that one.

Still the only time I've never received an item in over 2 years of dealing on eBay. Usually pretty safe place to deal if you keep a watchful eye on who you are buying from!

His name is nathanchamp check cleard my account on the 9/21. he has 6 negs all for this reason. guess i screwed up!

I'd still report him to eBay.....they guy that ripped my Jackson ($20) off had his ID placed in the "No Longer a Registered User File"

Kuhlman - with all due respect, stop this angling, pick up the frickin' phone and call the guy. His computer could be down, your emails may be blocked, he may not read emails, he may be replying to the wrong address. I would talk to the guy. Nobody's getting rich on 19 bucks.

Looking at his 'good' feedback, it appears he is simply slow in delivering, and doesn't reply to emails. I'll be you get the card in the next week or so.

You could go to your bank and try to put a stop payment on the cheque.. They'll pull the funds out of his account. I've done this before.

I would say he will just be late on delivery. If you look at his feedback, the negs he got, some of them he even responds to them by saying the buyer was excellent and gave them a positive even though he got a neg. Seems like a straight up guy, just slow. Not mnay sellers would still give a positive after a neg is left.
