Why do people try to do this? I have seen this before, hand made 1 of 1s. Hopefully no one will think it is authentic.

Why do they do it? You tell me. I wouldn't mind it so much if they just came out and said,"I cut a hole in this card and stuck a store-bought patch in it," but they skate by with vague statements like "official major league" patch. They don't say,"game-used," they say "official." They don't say "home made," they say "handcrafted." Silly people fill in the blanks the way they want to see them.

  • What a CROCK. But, hey, they're making money. I guess nowadays that's all that matters to some people.

    Hold on here folks.

The absolute junk that "reputable" card companies are putting out ("event" jerseys, sliced-up sigs) is no different than this.

If someone wants to cut a hole in the card and sell it, I am in full support.

One time someone sold a rock by calling it a pet rock.

This is how oversaturated the market is. By itself, this card is just another in the galaxy of Jeter cards, but with this patch, it has been made unique!

Now pardon me while I go violently empty the contents of my stomach.
