Certified VG/8 1909 S Penny for trade

I would like to trade this penny for some silver. I purchased a higher grade and dont need it. I have my penny collection pretty much complete so I would like to trade it for some silver washington quarters, etc. Don't need any Rosies though I've got all of those I need.

I have a pic of the penny if needed. E-mail Volksbeetle28@aol.com

    Howdy,

Welcome to the boards. It may be difficult for you to sell/trade the SVDB here b/c this was your first post. Most members would want to see a little longer membership before they'd buy a coin at that level. Even so, goodluck with your trade.

    All the best,
    David
  • Thanks for the welcome. I am looking forward to buying/trading coins on this site. I've been doing alot of buying on ebay but I like doing trades so I definiately want a good reputation here. I have a 184 feedback rating on ebay if it helps. Thanks, Matt

image- by the way could you elaborate on the silver you are looking for- for example do you want to trade your 1909 s 1 cent for the equal value in bulk silver quarters - or are you looking for a trade for a nicer certified quarter of equal value. I have found the BST forum to be a extremely valuable tool in collecting but most member are detail oriented so the more detail the better. It might help if you disclosed the name of the company that certified you coin and if you are looking to trade for another certified coin, list the names of the companies that you are willing to accept. If you have any questions feel free to PM (private message) me or ask the question in this tread. Also to avoid the rath of some forum member let me explain one key issue to you.

At sometime later today your thread will end up on the second page of the forum. You are allowed to reply to you own thread once a day. This will assure that new people will see you thread and it increases the probability of someone contacting you. Most people use the abreviation TTT in the text portion of the reply to let other forum members know that you offer to sell/trade is still vialble. By the way TTT means to the top( to the top of the first page so new viewers can see you offer)--It is early and I have not had my coffee so if I have confused you more --let me know--good luck and once again WELCOME ---Don/mademan
  • Thanks for the welcome...wow looks like I've got some to learn here. OK well here goes. My cent has been graded by PCI grading service in VG/8. For trade I am looking to get some of the Washington Silver quarters that I need for my book. I'm not looking for MS type coins just around the G-AU grades. Here is a list:

    1934-d 1935-S 1936-D 1936-S 1937 1937-D 1937-S 1938 1938-S 1939-D 1939-S 1940-D 1940-S 1941 1941-D 1941-S 1942 1942-D 1943-D 1943-S 1944-D 1944-S 1945-D 1945-S 1946 1946-D 1946-S 1947 1947-D 1947-S 1948-S1949 1949-D 1950 1950-S 1951 1951-S 1952 1952-D 1952-S 1953 1953-S 1954-D 1954-S 1955 1955-D 1956 1956-D 1958 1959 1960 1960-D 1961
