I can not believe I saw this was fake and like an idiot I used a link in the email to log into eBay. 2 seconds after I did I realized what I did and immediately went to the right eBay and logged in and changed my password. Then I used Live help and had them remove all my financial account info from MyeBay. I hope that does it.

I got a spoof a couple days ago that said something to the tune of 'you may receive several copies of this email because multiple people are researching the problem - you only need to reply to one of the emails'
Of course, I simply deleted them and moved on...
Total Copper Nutcase - African, British Ships, Channel Islands!!!
'Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup'
Got a great PayPal spoof the other day. Wish I had saved it to share with you. It was the standard PayPal message when you make a payment (Receipt for your payment to .....).
It looked perfect and said that I had paid some guy $150 for a watch. What caught my eye was a message at the bottom that said something like "If you think this payment was made in error, click here to stop payment."
I was about to click when the lights went on
Closed my email and logged into PayPal directly. Sure enough, no payment had been made.
Phew!!!
Probably that you never bought a $150 watch on ebay, maybe that didn't look right. And yet, it's the $150 that makes the biggest impression to the brain, such is human nature.
