Anybody who thinks Bartolo Colon hit ARod in the ribs by accident....

didn't see the April 26, 2005 game where ARod hit 3 Home Runs off of Colon including a Grand Slam which resulted in 9 RBI's.

Randy will take care of business on Friday in Yankee Stadium. Another reason I don't like the the DH since the pitcher doesn't get to bat to get hit. image

Gem, Colon hit A-rod on accident man. Come on, why in the hell would Bartolo drill him in a undecided POST SEASON game? I did not think that was intentional .... AT ALL

softparade, I am not so sure about that, especially how he hurt Colon in the past.

nah, that was a fastball that just got away and rode in on A-Rod ..... I am certain of this, regardless of how A-rod has thrashed him in the past. There is just no way that Colon does that in this spot. If it was early April, mid-season then maybe you think about that. ...

Hmmmm interesting theory. I could see him hitting the league HR champ in the back like that in this game especially if he thinks arod owned him. I think though that this pitch just got away and he was hoping to move arod off the plate thereby setting up his next pitch which would probably be down and away. Forcing arod to chase it.

I dont think Colon did it on purpose. He was already in enough hot water and I dont see him putting another man on and hurting his own teammates. Colon is a gamer...he'll come at you fearlessly. I think it was a brushback pitch that got away.

Yeah a pitcher is going to take a vendetta from a game in APRIL and hit someone in a post-season game.

Are you really that dense? Or do you truly don't know baseball.

If it had been done on purpose the ball would have come in about 10 inches higher. image
