I just received my prize from MM for the recent giveaway he offered. Given his "madness" reputation I was somewhat concerned that I might have gotten the infameous rubber chicken since I am a U of SC grad. and our mascot is a Fighting Gamec**k. Instead I received a 1968 proof Panama set, which was minted by the US Mint. This fits nicely into my collection of proof sets from around the world.

So ... should I expect to see some of those expatriated rubber chickens at the St Charles show in a couple of weeks?

If I come down to St. Louis it will only be for 1 day. The rubberchicken likes to hit the bar after the show and if Dennis and I start drinking, there is no way I'm driving 5 hours home!

Hmmm ... so if you show it would be on Saturday eh? I guess that's good as I am contemplating being at the show on Friday and possibly part of Saturday depending upon how things go this time around.
