This is my first Pillar Dollar. I have wanted one for a long time, but I finally found a good one at our local show last weekend. I know there are a lot of fakes out there, and I got to see both real and fakes at one of the dealers. I just liked it , so I bought it.

It is Mexico 8 Reales 1740.

I like Ikes!! But I especially like Viking Ships, Swedish Plate Money, and all coins Scandinavian.

There is nothing like holding a hunk of 18th C silver in your hand. Nice one.
