  • Is it common for UK proof coins to grade out in the mid-60's? I have no knowledge of this area but I'm suprised as US coins from the same ere are almost guaranteed 69 or 68 at worst? It has me curious also because I have several Irish proof issues from the 1990's and early 00's.
Everything I write is my opinion.

    Looking for alot of crap.

Picked these up already cracked out from proof sets, placed in 2x2s, and stored in a dealer's albums for who knows how long. The other 20p proofs I have are PR69DCAM.

It's due to hit the "45 days" pretty much now, or in a day or two at most.

I thought my 60+ days were bad until I checked your dates, that was some wait since July!!!

It is little surprise that more of my submissions are going across the street!

Check again ... they entered the submission on June 7th. From the time I mailed it off to PCGS until the time I get it back from PCGS it will have been four months round trip. I sent in my last world economy to PCGS on Monday and will see how long it takes to make it through the system. After this I have one Canadian and two UK submissions left to send in this year. Any other world coins I acquire are going to be sent elsewhere ...

  • Sorry misread the date.
That makes it even worse, I will have an even longer wait for my Canadian and British submissions ( I thought two months was long enough ).

All my other darkside is travelling to Fl.
