1/4 of the way into the season...what do we know?

After week 4, what do we really know about the season?

-(speaking as a bucs fan), the Bucs are incredibly lucky to be 4-0 at this point...3 close games against teams they should have dominated, they did perserve to pull though. Tampa could go .500 from here on out and go 10-6.

-JP Losman looks absolutely lost on the field. I took a late round flyer on him in my draft and there is something wrong with him. He looks lost, uncomposed, beyond what a rookie should be.

-The Eagles look to be back to their world beating ways....(again as a Bucs fan) what they've done to the teams they should dominate (49ers) as opposed to what the bucs have done is the difference between a playoff caliber team and a team still up and coming.

-Neil Rackers of the Cardinals is the real deal...already has 17 field goals this year, several from outside 50 yards. Tonight (yes, it was high, thin air) he booted 2 KICKOFFS through the uprights...and yes, he's on my fantasy football team image

Anyone else have some insights they've garnered?

Eli Manning is stepping up more and more every week, showing great ability to move in the pocket to avoid the rush. Of course since his daddy makes his decisions for him he is a FRAUD. Nullifying anything he does on the field.

A Mariner and a Bucs fan ? Now, lets talk about fraud!!! image

Lost in the news shuffle is JJ Arrington. A 2,000 yd rusher last season and so far is sitting the pine behind Shipp. I saw the Cardinals as a playoff contender, maybe division champs. Why Greene hasn't just thrown him in and let him learn is beyond me.

  • I have to say the biggest surprise... is Eli Manning. He is playing great... but will he be able to keep it up?

We know that the Eagles are still definitely the best team in the NFC and now in all of football with the Pats struggling. Have some other teams in the NFC gotten better? - Yes. But have these teams really closed the gap against the Eagles - I don't think so because the Eagles have also gotten better. The Eagles are a better team from last season. The Eagles will win the Super Bowl - just a question of by how many points.

<< <i>Neil Rackers of the Cardinals is the real deal >>

Another Illini product! I am shocked to see how many Illinois Boys are playing in the league. With some talent coming from there you would think they could win a few games.
