Looks undergraded if the photo is right. I'd be sending that one in hoping for a 67.

    It has a great strike.
    It has hard clean feilds.
It has almost mark free devices.
    It has gorgeous color.

If it were in a 66 holder I'd be trying for 67. Clear upgrade candidate from a 65 holder.

    I concur.

It has a razor sharp strike and is even vaguely PL. It's also very clean for the date.

Sorry but when you blow it up a little that gouge in his cheek is going to keep it in a 65 holder IMHO.

I feel that it is a super nice coin, but not ms66 because of a mark on the coin. However, I would have paid $ 500.00 + because it's a color coin and PQ . $ 2,350.00 is a bit much, even for a nice color coin.

    Manofcoins,
    Great Set !!
I am totally impressed with the quality !!
Washington Quarters are so difficult in high grades, that very few collectors make the effort.

Gouge? Maybe when you have the coin at dinner plate size.

The coin below is in an MS66 holder.

If you look for MS67 Ikes on Dealer Sites, Registry sets, etc you can find sevel MS67 coins that I would clearly put lower than this Teletrade MS65.

I really think someone hopes to get that into an MS67 holder.

I like the color but think the price is way too stiff.

Don't ever think there is a "real" underbidder on Teletrade. In my experience, most of the decent coins are actually owned by Teletrade and they are selling them in a pseudo-auction. You meet their price, you win the coin. But don't get fooled that there is another willing buyer out there.
